Greetings Family! 

I’m excited to announce that plans have begun for the 2022 Elrod Family Reunion “Descents of Elijah and Catherine Elrod”! 
First of all, let me introduce myself. My name is Katrice Seawright I am the daughter of Margaret Ann Seawright Sherred, the granddaughter of Charles and Margaret Dickerson Seawright, the great-granddaughter of James and Carrie Elrod Dickerson and the great-great granddaughter of Elijah and Catherine Elrod. I am also the 2022 Reunion Coordinator. I’m looking forward to working with everyone who is interested in helping – even in a small way – to make this reunion fun and memorable for all who attend.
Several of the Reunion Committee members have met to start making preliminary plans. Our first task was to pick a location and come up with dates in 2011. The dates are set for August 5-7, 2011. The location will be in Greenville, SC. Our host hotel this year will be the Holiday Inn Express and Suites, 1036 Woodruff Road Greenville, SC 29607. We have a special reunion rate: Standard rooms (King or Double room) are $85.00 per night and Suites (King or Double room) are $119.00 per night. We hope that since we are still about 8 months away that people will be able to put this date on their calendars and make it work. I truly hope that everyone that receives this letter will try to make it to the 2022 Reunion. The Elrod Family Reunion will be a three day event, giving family members (that span six generations and live from coast to coast) an opportunity to spend time together visiting loved ones, getting to know one another and building relationships to last a lifetime. We have attached a tentative schedule of events. 

We are asking that persons ages 12 and up pay $50.00 each and children ages 11 and under pay $25.00 each for reunion fees. No fees for children ages 0-3.  Reunion fees will used to pay for banquet room, rentals, tee shirts, food and activities for the weekend.  Tee-Shirt order and registration forms have been included. We are asking that reunion fees be paid on or before April 1, 2022 to assist with deposits and preparations. Cash App: $ElrodReunion.
